The notable deeds of ordinary people are rarely written about or remembered. This section rectifies this in a small way by presenting a blurb about something noteable that one of us has done. Of course, not everyone's noteworthy deeds are presented here, only those I've remembered and for which I have a photo or video for that catches the eye. (Sadly, words nowaday play second fiddle to pictures, so without an eye-catching image...)

Welcome to Fingerboard-Productions.com.

I built this website for practice, but I eventually realized it was easier to get to OneDrive (and our photos) via the site than via OneDrive. After a while, I added a Family News page, a Notable Deeds page, and then an Articles page, which allowed me to spout-off whenever I wanted.

Spouting off proved to be great therapy for frustration, political and otherwise. Here, I can write about anything, and feel as if I've had my say. This also solved the problem of sparse viewship -- the site now had a personal use. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have visitors, and even happier if they find something of value here. I just don't fret about it anymore. As Ann Landers said, "At age 20, we worry about what others think of us. At age 40, we don't care what they think of us. At age 60, we discover they haven't been thinking of us at all." I would add that at age 80, we're just happy that we can still have worries, cares, and discoveries. By the way, the pictures are me at 20 and 80.

Regarding security... I had been requiring a password to sign in, but I dropped it. The site is already restricted by only sharing its URL with those who might have an interest in its content -- friends and family. In addition, I don't put anyone's personal or identifying information on the site or in any of its linked files.

Regarding cellphones... First, I've tried to make it easy to use the site on a cellphone, but there's no getting around the fact that there is less screen on a cellphone. Second, if you typically use a cellphone to access the web, you might want to add the site to your cellphone's homepage, here's how. Just use Safari to open www.Fingerboard-Productions.com, tap the share icon (the box with the up arrow), scroll down to the bottom, and select "add to home screen".

Send me an email: if you want to add or remove something or make a private comment. If you want to comment publicly on something I've written, there's a comment form at the end of each article.
